Popular retail brand in the UAE, ‘Union Coop’ will be honouring 800 academically outstanding students, from the shareholders’ children as a part of its shareholder happiness initiatives. These initiatives deal with making the shareholder happy and inspire them to work in line with the government’s vision of achieving the highest level of motivation within the community. The ‘Kafou Program – For the academically outstanding children’ is one of the several shareholder happiness programs of Union Coop, under which these 800 students will be honoured.
H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO of Union Coop said, “Education is definitely one of the priorities of our great government and we at Union Coop are willing to offer all forms of support to the education sector. These outstanding students represent an exceptional model for the entire UAE because they represent strong will, determination and the desire to achieve the goals, which leads to the development, progress and advancement of their nation at all levels.”

Union Coop has been spreading social awareness in the community by supporting campaigns organized by Ministries, Government and private institutions, which in the end are helping the construction of a cohesive culture. The firm has been creating awareness about the same campaigns by printing the campaign slogans and messages on eco-friendly shopping bags and promoting the messages through Cash Register’ screens installed in all its branches, in addition, to promote their campaigns inside Union Coop Branches and Malls.
